Thursday - February 13

Thursday - Feb 13:

We spent the morning relaxing in island mode.... got up at 10:00am (ok...that was Pam) but we didn't go to bed until past 2am (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).  We've been watching the Oympic coverage and last night was the Beatles anniversary program.  We flipped back and forth a lot.

Started the day at Starbucks across the street from Kalama Park where the Whale Day festival will be held on Saturday.

Its so relaxing....we decided to skip the sightseeing today and head back to the pool for the afternoon.

Norm is lounging in the infinity pool.   Hope he doesn't float over the side...

We took some photos of Linda and Robert's condo too:

Linda's quilt room:

Robert's room with his pool table - we've got two air beds and all of our clothes stacked in the room (poor Robert):

Linda and Pam went to the weekly ukulele event tonight.  What a nice group of people.   We played music plus enjoyed a couple of songs from a visiting ukulele player and a slack key guitar player.

We're all filing in to get a seat in the Keolahou Congregational Church in Kihei where the uke group meets every week:

Jarret Delos Santos aka Kumu Kealoha is a Maui native and the founder of 808 Uke Jams, a ukulele school in Maui.

He's the one in the black tank top in the middle.

These were the two guest musicians:
